Artificial Intelligence (AI) image generators have significantly improved over recent months, with services such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Firefly, Midjourney and others, now offering high-quality images that are nearly indistinguishable from real photos. These AI-generated images often lack visible watermarks, making it difficult for an untrained eye to differentiate between real photography and AI-generated content. The 4o image generation tool of ChatGPT resulted in an increase in its user base, and similar image generation enhancements were introduced to Gemini through Google’s Imagen 4 and Imagen 4 Ultra.
A new model from AI startup Higgsfield, known as Soul, is gaining popularity on social media. Soul, similar to tools from OpenAI and Google, delivers images that appear like real photos taken with a smartphone. However, Soul is a “high-aesthetic photo model” conceptually designed to replicate the quality of real-life photography. Higgsfield announced on social media that Soul offers “fashion-grade realism” that might make users “throw away your iPhone”.
Soul is distinct from other AI tools for high-end image generation as it includes more than 50 presets to facilitate faster image generation. These presets, available at Higgsfield
